We take pride in cakes and patisserie that taste as delicious as they look. That’s why everything is freshly baked to order with only the best quality ingredients. Eva Cockrell Cake Design is also continuously changing ingredients in all goods to mainly organic version. As a result, our cakes are even more scrumptious than before while we also feel better about our environment. Indeed they are always made from scratch and there is no surprise that we have an award for one of the yummy flavours (Coconut Delight) in the 2016 National Cupcake Championships!
Chocolate Heaven – Rich chocolate cake with white chocolate butter cream
Luscious Lemon – Organic lemon drizzle sponge with tangy butter cream and lemon curd
Black Forest – Rich Chocolate sponge with vanilla cream and forest berry compote
Raspberry Ripple – White chocolate sponge with white chocolate butter cream, raspberry compote and fresh raspberries
Carrot Cake – Moist carrot cake with tangy cream
Red Velvet – Traditional American cake with Madagascan Vanilla butter cream
Pistachio & Matcha – Pistachio sponge with Matcha butter cream
Cookies & Cream – Rich chocolate sponge filled with Madagascan vanilla bean butter cream and crushed Oreo biscuits
Salted Caramel – Madagascan vanilla bean sponge with Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream and home made salted caramel sauce
Prosecco & Raspberry – White chocolate sponge with Prosecco butter cream and fresh raspberries
Madagascan Vanilla – Madagascan vanilla bean sponge with layers of vanilla bean butter cream, raspberry or strawberry preserve (optional)
Bakewell – Almond sponge with almond flavoured butter cream and Cherry preserve
Coconut Delight – Luxurious coconut sponge with coconut cream filling and passion fruit curd
Piña Colada – Luxurious coconut sponge, rum cream and homemade tropical fruit compote
Apple Crumble – Deliciously warming spiced apple sponge with butter cream or cream cheese frosting
Tiramisu – Vanilla sponge soaked in espresso with a silky smooth mascarpone frosting

Price Guide
Generally there are two cake slice options available, a dessert portion or a finger portion.
Dessert portion, also known as a party portion, is usually served at birthdays and parties. This is the size you can expect to be served at a café. The approximate size is 2x1x5 inch.
Finger portion, sometimes called a coffee portion or a wedding portion is approximately half of a dessert portion. This size is common at weddings or afternoon teas. The approximate size is 1x1x5 inch.
Price Guide
- £295 for 2 tier cake (30 dessert portions/60 finger portions)
- £610 for 3 tier cake (70 dessert portions/140 finger portions)
- £895 for 5 tier cake (100 dessert portions/200 finger portions)
- £2500 for 8 tier cake (300 dessert portions/600 finger portions)
Any decorative embellishment such as sugar flowers will be priced individually based on the material and the amount of time creating them.
For the best result, UNLESS your VENUE IS AIR-CONDITIONED, I don’t offer BUTTER CREAM FINISH wedding cakes during MAY-SEPTEMBER due to continuously high temperatures during these months. Instead I recommend opting for a chocolate or sugar paste finish, the inside flavours and fillings are not affected.
ONE TIER wedding cakes can be booked ONLY with DESSERT TABLE package OR PART OF A macaron/cupcake/doughnut TOWER. Minimum charge £290.
Delivery
We personally deliver all our wedding cakes
Delivery is made predominantly throughout Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and London but we’ll be happy to deliver your cake further afield.
Cake Stand Hire
For customers that would like to hire a cake stand, we have a range of wedding cake stands from just £10 (3 day hire), additionally we request a fully refundable deposit £30-£90 (this varies on the type of the stand).
All cake stands must be returned to us by customer unless agreed otherwise (details would be confirmed in the invoice)

Sustainability
Sustainability is a very important aspect of my business. I don’t use any plastic or wooden dowels, but bamboo instead. They are stronger and therefore safer for stacked cakes; bamboo also requires less energy and water to grow. This way we are also protecting the soil.
All of my packaging is either plant based such as cellulose, paper or reusable plastic.
- The cake could melt or sweat leading to bleeding of the colours
- Fresh flowers could wilt.
- Sugar flowers could melt.
- We strongly recommend silk or wafer paper flowers in marquees
Terms & Conditions, Payments
Cakes are priced individually depending on the amount of portions and the cake design.
Orders are secured only with a Booking fee £100.
Any late changes (within the month of your wedding) to your cake order or design may incur extra charges.
We accept no responsibility for fresh flowers supplied by a third party. Please ensure they are not poisonous or toxic to humans as they will decorate an edible product. There are new rules by the Food Standards Agency regarding fresh flowers. We will be happy to advice our customers with what flowers can be on the cake and which are prohibited.
We accept no responsibility for damage to the cake once it has been delivered.
In the event of cancellation, booking fee is non refundable.
If you need to postpone your wedding / event, I will do my best to accommodate your new date and time within the same calendar year. Any postponement after the calendar year may incur extra charge.
In the unfortunate event that you have a problem with your cake, it must be returned to Eva Cockrell Cake Design for assessment within 48 hours of collection / delivery.
